I spent hours upon hours of my childhood delving into fantasy worlds full of magical lands, rich narratives, and the occasional frustrating fetch quest. When I was younger, nothing could captivate me quite like a solid JRPG could. When I was approached about an opening to work on one myself, the decision to throw my hat into the ring was instantaneous (I screamed a little tbh).

As the Senior Community Manager at Riyo Games, my specific role involves building a community from the ground up. As the studio is still fairly new, this involves:

• Building internal ideation, planning, and approval processes

• Extensive research on the JRPG genre through social media, Reddit, as well as Steam forums, and presenting these findings to their respective departments

• Creating a monthly content calendar for social media

• Identifying opportunities and executing initiatives to help drive community engagement within our 2000+ member Discord Server

• Suggesting content to reveal to the community as the title continues to be developed

• Creating sentiment and analytics reports that cover our owned channels to identify learnings and how we can improve going forward

• Crafting copy for email marketing campaigns that showcases Threads of Time news and updates to our dedicated subscribers
